1/21/10 6:09 PMOur tech teams have been working toward optimizing the performance of the publishing system since an underlying sys upgrades a couple weeks ago. We were able to move to a more advanced version of the publishing platform, but this (as with all software upgrades) must be reconciled with the server environment optimization and the custom coding made on the previous software version. After careful review of all available logs, we can divide the issues in two main sources of conflict. First, the migrated archives from CP4 are inheriting lots of spam traffic. Partially to blame for this is the configuration of the traffic redirect we have in place from old CP4 URLs to the newer CP5 URLs. The code deployment originally scheduled for last week will now be dropped in this Wednesday and Tuesday Jan. 6 and 7, 2010. The code will be implemented in two batches as with the original plan.
