Make Site Comments Appear Before Facebook Comments

How to make CP5 comments display as the default tab, rather than Facebook Comments

CP5 articles list two sets of comments on every article page, one Facebook-powered, the other as native comments in the CP5 system. These comment sets are divided between tabs, with the Facebook tab set to display first on all article pages.

You can make a manual tweak to your site to force site comments to display first, putting Facebook comments in the secondary tab.

Setting your CP5 site comments as the default tab on your article page is as simple as copy/paste with this one-step tutorial.

  1. From the "Start Page" of your site admin, click on the "Header and Footer" tab.
  2. Under the "Header" section, create an HTML element and paste in the following code:
